01 You flagged #coding-plateaus last month.
02 Opus 5’s benchmarks complicate that thesis.
03 Here’s what changed — and what didn’t.
Ingestion

Forward the newsletters you already skim.

Email is how most of what you read actually arrives. Hash gives you a private forwarding address — point your Gmail rules at it and every newsletter becomes raw material for tomorrow's hash.

Read everything, once.

Hash ingests your sources on a schedule — RSS, email forwards, Reddit, HN, Substack, Product Hunt. Multi-story newsletters are split into individual items before synthesis. Deduped across 30 days so old stories don't come back disguised.

feed: hn, substack.com/{42}, reddit.com/{7}, email-forward
cadence: 02:00 · 14:00 PST · rss every 15m
dedup: 30-day episode manifest
02 · MIND

Synthesis, through your lens.

Three sequential Haiku calls. Call one picks the most synthesis-worthy stories. MythOS perspective injection finds what you've already written on the topics. Calls two and three produce a digest and a podcast transcript anchored in that perspective.

call 1 → story manifest [5-12 items]
mythos → perspectives from #coding-plateaus, #llm-txt
call 2 → digest · $0.03
call 3 → transcript · $0.04
03 · MOUTH

Delivered at 6 AM. Every day.

One email. One podcast. Both written to sound like you — citing your prior memos, challenging positions you've softened on, surfacing contradictions you'd otherwise miss. Save a story to MythOS in one tap. Send Sonnet deeper with "Initiate research".

Questions

What people ask first.

Is this just an RSS reader?+
No. Hash synthesizes your feeds into a single daily digest and podcast, personalized by what you've already written in MythOS. RSS is one of seven input types; the output is one email and one 8-minute audio episode.
What happens to my forwarded newsletters?+
Multi-story newsletters get split into individual items before synthesis. Each story is deduped, extracted for entities, and cross-referenced against your MythOS library.
Does Hash use my reading history to train models?+
No. Your content never leaves our infrastructure for training. LLM calls use Anthropic with zero-retention. You can export everything as markdown at any time.
Why three tiers of synthesis (Haiku → Sonnet)?+
Haiku handles the daily bulk: story selection, digest, transcript. Sonnet only runs when you tap "Initiate Research" — so cost scales with your curiosity, not your subscription.
Do I need MythOS?+
No. You can run Hash standalone on the Free tier. But the personalization loop — "you wrote about this already" — only closes if your MythOS library is connected.
